The hospital is the only medical institution on the left bank of the Daugava River that specializes in traumatology and orthopedics, providing a full examination and treatment process, as well as 24-hour emergency care. The hospital has more than 300 employees. About 3,000 operations are performed annually. The hospital has 105 beds, including 40 trauma, 36 orthopedic, 4 intensive care, 14 nursing, 8 chronic care, 3 subacute rehabilitation beds.
