PRODUCT: A computer speech therapy game for facial and articulation exercises.
DESCRIPTION: CheeksUp was created to make it easier, exciting, productive and accessible for children to learn sounds and train in the use of words, continuing quality training at home after a visit to the speech therapist. This computer game helps children to pronounce sounds during lessons and encourages them to repeat sounds, syllables and words independently as interactive homework. CheeksUp motivates children to learn through game elements and makes it possible to easily keep track of the child’s success indicators. The online platform makes it possible to connect to tasks from various smart devices. To start using CheeksUp, you first require a speech therapist’s assessment, followed by the creation of an individual homework plan in the CheeksUp programme. The speech therapist must be trained in the use of the system. The game is available in latvian, english and russian, however specialists can create individual homework plans in any language.
