Hair transplantation in Latvia is performed by using the manual FUE method (follicular unit extraction, explained as “removal of sets of hair follicles one by one”). This procedure can be used to transplant hair in the area of the head, eyebrows, beard and moustache. With the help of hair transplantation, it is possible to fight baldness, cover scars or other visual imperfections.
Am I a good candidate for a hair transplant?
There are several factors to consider, such as the characteristics of the hair, the amount of hairloss and the amount of hair you want to restore. The most accurate way to determine your suitability is to have a consultation with a doctor. No. Currently, it is not possible to use hair from another person, regardless of whether it’s a family member or not, for example, if they are your twins or relatives. The body will perceive such hair follicles as foreign bodies and protect itself from them, which can lead to other complications.

There is no age limit. Generally, the main factors affecting suitability are general health and the hair donor area.

There are not. Hair transplant surgery provides a permanent solution to replace lost hair with new hair. Regrown hair can be washed, styled, without any restrictions.
