The services of Latvia’s clinics are being increasingly appreciated by foreign clients receiving complex high-class attractively priced dental services. Our specialists practice methods that guarantee a pleasant treatment process and high client satisfaction with the result. Our clinics regularly receive awards from the WhatClinic website for the outstanding quality of their services, based on patients’ feedback and recommendations.
What types of dentistry services are available?
The widest range of dentistry services are offered: dental hygiene, teeth whitening, tooth repair, dental implants, dental prosthetics, treatment of oral diseases, bite correction, jaw surgery, inflammation treatment, etc. The most popular procedures are caries treatment and visual improvement of smile.
How to choose your specialist?
It is important that the patient has good contact with the dentist. Dental clinics, our cluster cooperation partners, have received good client feedback both about high quality services, as well as the professionalism and attitude of the medical staff. If you are unsure which dentist to trust, we recommend a diagnostic visit, during which a specialist will assess the general state of oral health and suggest how to improve the health and visual appearance of teeth. After the first appointment, you can decide whether you want to continue visiting the particular dental institution. It’s a good idea to choose one specialist who monitors your oral health in the long-term, as this will allow your doctor to recommend solutions that are best for you in each situation.
How long does the result last?
Teeth whitening effect can last up to 2 years. The lifespan of dental fillings can vary – for example, the predicted lifespan of the classic silver fillings is 8–12 years, but they often last much longer. If properly maintained, beautiful composite material fillings can last up to 12 years. Glass ionomer fillings have a warranty of approximately 8 years. Ask your specialist for more details about the warranty for each procedure.
Are dentistry services available also for children?
Yes, a full range of dentistry services is also available for children. First thing children need to know – dentists are not scary and that proper hygiene is important. Baby teeth require proper maintenance, too, and they must be repaired if necessary. When a wider scope of repairs is needed, it may require general anaesthesia. Anxious patients are offered laughing gas sedation – an alternative that has been used for decades worldwide. Laughing gas is a modern and highly effective way of analgesia and relaxation so that dentistry treatments don’t cause too much discomfort.
Which institutions offer dentistry services?
Health Travel Latvia cluster clinics offer all types of dental and oral hygiene services. Our cooperation partners are private medical institutions that have the best technology, state of the art equipment, as well as excellent doctors who will be able to recommend the best and most modern treatment solutions. Patients can visit good dentists both in Riga and outside of the capital city – in Jūrmala, Dzintari. Our partners are Dr Apine Dental Clinic, Latvia Dental, Medical Company ARS, Royal Dent, and Sky Dream Clinic.
Which clinics offer dentistry for children?
Children’s dentistry is offered by all clinics of the cluster. Dr Apine Dental Clinic offers children to watch cartoons during the procedure, to pick the filling colour, as well as sedation with laughing gas. Latvia Dental has a special dental health program for children that’s designed for not only the treatment but also educating children on dental health. Youngest patients are welcome also at Medical Center ARS – even in acute situations without a prior appointment. Children are welcome also at Royal Dent and Sky Dream Clinic. At Sky Dream Clinic littlest patients can play games and watch cartoons, it features fun interior design and offers orthodontics and teeth straightening to prevent from an incorrect bite. In order for children to develop a healthy attitude towards dentistry in general, children’s dental care requires a special approach, which is a characteristic of all member clinics of the cluster.
