GenEra Laboratory has been specializing in molecular genetics or DNA testing for more than 20 years. The goal of the laboratory is to help improve the quality of life with the knowledge provided by genetic information. The GenEra team works based on the following values: To know. To help. To live.

GenEra has four main activities:

• Biological kinship testing: standard paternity / maternity testing, determination of distant kinship (grandmothers / grandchildren, half-siblings, half-sisters, aunts, uncles, siblings, etc.). This type of testing is performed both for anonymous persons (providing testing also remotely) and for resolving legal issues in court.

• Medical tests for diagnosis and risk assessment: DNA tests can be performed for a variety of purposes. The range of medical DNA tests offered by GenEra includes tests for diagnosing underlying diseases and determining the genetic predisposition to a specific disease.

• Veterinary DNA tests: more than 300 different tests have been made available since 2021.

• WELLNESS tests for health and well-being: a genetic nutrition DNA test with a personalised diet and physical activity plan based on a person’s individual nutrient profile – analysing the genes involved in metabolism. Tailored healthy lifestyle recommendations, insights and the latest nutrient research allow you to take personal nutrition and physical activity to a new level of effectiveness and results.
