A new member - JV Clinic - has joined the Latvian Health tourism cluster

A new member – JV Clinic is a specialized gynaecology and surgery clinic that boasts the greatest experience of gynecological laparoscopy in the Baltic States. The clinic is headed by Dr. Juris Vītols, who has performed more than 10,000 endoscopic surgeries since 1994 and is one of the pioneers of minimally invasive surgery in the region. In the clinic, special attention is paid to the laparoscopic treatment of complex cases, such as deep endometriosis, in which other organs of the abdominal cavity may also be involved. The son of Dr. Jurs Vītols, Dr. Jurģis Vītols, who has obtained the European certificate of gynecological endoscopy surgery and regularly improves his skills at international congresses and seminars, is also active in the clinic. For each patient, the type of surgery is selected, which provides the most effective treatment and a shorter recovery time. The coordination of patients before and after surgery is ensured by an experienced and professional team of nurses.

The new member will enrich the Latvian health tourism cluster’s offer and will be a good contribution to the provision of medical services to foreign clients.
