- Completing neuroophthalmology courses at the University of Toobingen (Germany) in 2001;
- Graduated from Riga Stradits University in 1998 (Postgraduate Faculty, Ophthalmology Residence);
- Graduated from the Latvian Medical Academy in 1995, the Medical Faculty;
- Supplemented the knowledge of ophthalmology clinics in England (Saushempton Eye Disease Hospital) and Italy (Samartino University Hospital, Genoa);
Regularly participate in ophthalmology congresses, conferences and symposiums in Latvia and abroad. Regularly participate in the European Congress of the Neiro-ophthalmologist Society and in the Baltic ophthalmologist forums. Participated in the Congress of the American Academy of Othalmologists, IN euretina, in the European and World Glaucoma Associations, and in practical training on the methods of ultrasonography and OCT;
A member of the Latvian Association of Eye Doctors and a member of the European Society of Neiroophthalmologist.
